I love the game, but you begin to wonder: how has it survived so long. Here are some reasons:
RPG are ultimate!
LOTS of people, understatement, like role playing games(RPGs). They like to be taken out of the real world and into a nice world where stuff happens, which leads me to:
Nothing happens in real life anymore!
Of cause there are lots of things to do these days, but the majority of people don't have access to it, e.g. running a country! In the medieval times there was adventures, cool professions like smithing and ALDUIN
The content is good.
This is rather self explanatory: you can't beat a bit of FF with everything from awkward laughing scenes to Tidus becoming sin!
It's addictive!
Quote "One of the frequent pieces of evidence to support video game addiction is studies like this one by Koepp et al, which was done in 1998. It monitored changes in dopamine levels from subjects who were playing a video game. The study noted that dopamine levels increased during game play “at least twofold.” Since then literature reviews and articles with an anti-gaming bias frequently and rightly state that video games can cause dopamine levels to “double” or significantly increase." Dopamine, for yous you don't know, is the "reward centre". It is a chemical that makes the person with it feel better!
AND MORE!
These are just a few. I know this one is short but I was... pre occupied!
